BUSINESS MODEL

  • Raw materials:

    • NGOs collect old newspapers, cloths for making GGBs from households

    • NGOs supply old newspapers, cloths to women for making GGBs

  • Production: Local women make the handmade GGBs

  • Supply:

    • NGOs receive regular supply of these bags from women

    • NGOs supply GGBs  to individual households and shops  every month

  • Financial:

    • NGOs pay 50% of the revenue to the women making GGBs

    • NGOs utilize 80% of the profit for running the education mission projects for underprivileged students

    • NGOs keep 20%  of the profit as administration fees 

  • Responsibility:

    • NGOs collect plastic bags from individual households

    • NGOs give the plastic bags to authorized recyclers  for responsible recycling
